You could say that the Fit is synonymous with fun. It’s fun to drive, full of fun tech features and has room for fun when you’re riding with four of your friends. Plus, it’s even fun to park. All those small spots will suddenly feel bigger. That’s because Honda made the guesswork a lot easier in the 2017 Fit with features like its multi-angle rearview camera as well as the available Honda LaneWatch blind spot display. Together, they will help you with the parts of the road that are a little hard to see. Inside its sporty exterior, the 60/40 Split 2nd-Row Magic Seat offers four configurations, which make its generous passenger volume and class-leading cargo volume (with the rear seats down) feel even more substantial. And the available paddle shifters add a dimension of fun to the available continuously variable transmission (CVT), while its Earth Dreams engine is designed to increase efficiency without sacrificing performance. Add in Honda-tuned handling and this is a ride you’ll want to share. Plus, with impressive fuel economy ratings and Honda’s legendary safety features, the Fit has a good head on its shoulders. Even when it comes to parking.

Continuously variable transmission
The available continuously variable transmission (CVT) constantly adjusts to conditions to help provide the most efficient drive ratio possible. Plus, the available steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters help add to the fun with the flick of your wrist.
Honda-tuned handling, always complimentary
The Fit is incredibly performance savvy with its Electric Power-Assisted Rack-and-Pinion Steering (EPS) and its precision-tuned independent MacPherson strut front and torsion-beam rear suspension. The result is nimble sport handling as well as improved ride comfort, responsiveness and stability.
The Eco Assist System. Your efficiency coach
It’s easy to drive efficiently when the Eco Assist system comes standard. The blue and green bars on either side of the speedometer let you keep your eye on how efficiently you’re driving, so all you have to do is stay on green if you want to get the most out of your tank.
The button that helps save
Get more out of every litre with the available ECON mode button, found on trims with the available continuously variable transmission (CVT). When you press it, the engine and other non-essential functions are adjusted to help reduce fuel consumption, so you can spend more time on the road.
Less fuel means more fun
Put some serious distance between gas stations. The Fit boasts impressive fuel economy ratings of 7.0/5.9/6.5 L/100 KM (city/highway/combined), so there are fewer stops along the way.
If stick is your thing, the Fit can accommodate. A 6-speed manual transmission is available for enthusiasts. And, it’s precisely as much fun as you think it would be.
Display Audio System
The available 7″ Display Audio System is tech that excites. Tap, swipe and pinch the touch-screen to control your audio system, display settings and available HondaLink Next Generation. You’ll interact with your Fit like never before.
HondaLink: The Next Generation
Link your compatible smartphone to available Display Audio System to stream navigation to the dashboard display (HondaLink Navigation app), keep up with information (HondaLink Connect app), get on-demand internet radio content (HondaLink Aha app) and easily access apps (HondaLink Launcher app).
The multi-angle rearview camera. Standard
Reversing out of driveways and parking spots is easier with the multi-angle rearview camera, standard on the Fit. No matter which trim you go for, eyes in the back of your ride help take the sweat out of reversing with three distinct angles: wide, normal and top-down.
See better with the available Honda LaneWatch blind spot display. When you signal right, this feature gives you a live feed of the road from a camera under your right mirror. It’s shown on your Display Audio System and reveals nearly four times more of the road than a mirror alone.
Easy in, easy go
The Fit is a proud supporter of spontaneity. When your hands are full, the available proximity key entry system with pushbutton start is handy. Don’t bother taking your keys out of your pocket or purse – the doors unlock automatically and the engine fires up with the push of a button.
Keep your bearings
The most worthwhile adventures are to places you’ve never been before. For those times, there’s the available Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System. With pinch-to-zoom gestures and bilingual Voice Recognition, your co-pilot can take the day off and enjoy the scenery.
Stream from your pocket
Our HandsFreeLink-bilingual Bluetooth wireless mobile phone interface comes standard, which means you can use your compatible phone to make or receive phone calls from the comfort of your pocket.
Hear it right
Nothing beats the open road when you’re kicking it to the available 180-watt AM/FM/CD audio system with 6 speakers. The Fit comes with tons of ways to play your tunes, thanks to its MP3/Windows Media Audio playback capability, available SiriusXM and Bluetooth Streaming Audio.
Text from the road
Keep your eyes on the road while you keep in touch with your friends. The available text message function minimizes distraction by reading your incoming text messages over the audio system and letting you choose from six preset responses.
Siri rides shotgun
There’s room for Siri on any trip. With available Siri Eyes Free connectivity, compatible iPhone users can get important information from their pocket assistant without breaking eye contact with what’s really important – the road ahead.
Honda Sensing Technology
Forward Collision Warning (FCW) system
The available FCW system that is integrated with CMBS is designed to detect the presence of vehicles in front of you and issue alerts if you’re approaching with too much speed. If you fail to respond to the alerts, the CMBS is triggered into operation.
Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)
To help reduce the likelihood or severity of a frontal impact, the available CMBS is engineered to apply brake pressure if you don’t slow down when it senses you’re at risk of a collision. If it still senses an imminent collision, CMBS is designed to brake firmly.
Lane Departure Warning (LDW) system
The available LDW system is designed to monitor vehicle lane position and alert you if your vehicle drifts into a new lane when you haven’t signaled.
Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS)
The available LKAS is engineered to gently correct your steering if you begin to leave a detected lane without signaling, applying torque progressively to the steering to help guide you back to the centre of the lane.
Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) system
The available Road Departure Mitigation system is designed to help steer and even apply the brakes to help keep the vehicle from leaving the road.
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
The available ACC system is designed to keep a set speed and set following interval behind the vehicle detected ahead of yours, including the ability to start and stop the vehicle with the flow of traffic.
To assist with safe stopping, the 4-wheel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) is designed to help you maintain control under hard braking conditions, while Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) helps to optimize braking power based on weight distribution inside the vehicle. In addition, Brake Assist is engineered to help improve braking performance by applying full brake pressure when a panic stop is detected.
Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) with Traction Control
Vehicle Stability Assist with Traction Control is designed to sense and help correct oversteer and understeer scenarios to enhance handling and cornering stability, while Traction Control is designed to minimize wheel spin when accelerating on loose or slippery surfaces, helping to inspire greater driver confidence.
Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
To promote enhanced safety and fuel efficiency, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System continually checks the air pressure in each tire. If pressure drops in any tire, the driver receives a dashboard alert.
Hill Start Assist
When you take your foot off the brake, this feature is engineered to temporarily maintain brake pressure to help prevent your Fit from starting to roll backwards when stopped on an incline.
Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure
The highly innovative, next generation Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure is engineered to help disperse frontal impact energy to enhance occupant protection, while more effectively controlling it in severe collisions to help prevent intrusion into the passenger cabin.
The Fit features childproof rear door locks, as well as rear seat Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH), which give you a simple and convenient method to install compatible child safety seats without using the vehicle’s seat belt system.
Innovative pedestrian safety features include an energy-absorbing hood and front fenders and breakaway wiper pivots.
Seat belt safety
The Fit helps prepare you for the unexpected with 3-point height-adjustable front seat belts with automatic tensioning system and 3-point rear seat belts.
Six standard airbags
The cabin of the Fit contains six standard airbags. It features an i-SRS front airbag system as well as side curtain airbags with rollover sensors, which are designed to deploy the side curtain airbags in the event of a rollover. Plus, it has SmartVent side airbags, which are designed to deploy safely in a manner that mitigates the risk of injury to out-of-position or smaller occupants.
HondaLink Assist Automatic Emergency Response System
The HondaLink Assist Automatic Emergency Response System helps you get the help you need when you need it most. If the airbags deploy, your Display Audio System is engineered to automatically attempt to put you on a call with an operator who will forward your location to first responders if needed. It works with any compatible Bluetooth-paired phone as long as it has reception, does not require a subscription and gives you peace of mind while you’re on the road.
